This photograph was taken in November 2008 and shows the HM Prison located along Perry Rd in Sherwood, Nottingham. It first opened in 1890 as a city gaol but was reconstructed in 1912 and until 1997 served as a closed training establishment for adult males. In 1997 it became B local prison, and now serves the courts of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
